<p>PURPOSE:To improve the flexibility of window arrangement, to prevent windows from overlapping one another by more than required, and to facilitate the operation by setting an area where windows are arranged wider than a display screen. CONSTITUTION:A window control table 2000 controls the positions, sizes, etc., of windows Wd1 - Wd4 which are opened. A coordinate converting means 3000 converts the positions and sizes of the windows Wd1 and Wd2 which are controlled on world coordinates as the coordinates of a background into screen coordinates so as to display the windows on a graphic RAM 5000. Namely, the four windows Wd1 - Wd4 are opened on the background screen 200 and a rectangle 110 which includes the windows Wd1 and Wd2 is displayed in a screen window 100. When the screen window 100 is scrolled, the rectangle 110 shifts in position and the display contents of the screen window 100 are changed. Consequently, the flexibility of the window arrangement is improved, windows are prevented from overlapping one another by more than required, and the operation is facilitated.</p> |
