A projectile-stopping structure comprising rotating support bars 7 for a plurality of annular hanging strips 9 of elastomer material or the like, forming a barrier with one or more arrays, on which the projectiles are slowed or stopped, and drive means to move the said annular strips to expose variable parts of the said strips to the action of the projectiles, the strips in successive arrays made having different running speeds; buffering sectors may be placed in the space between two vertical branches of the annular strip. <IMAGE> |
