PURPOSE:To obtain the title compsn., free from whitening and useful for producing a bottle excellent in the transparency and heat resistance by compounding a satd. polyester resin with a specified amt. of a phenolic compd. CONSTITUTION:100 pts.wt. satd. polyester resin (e.g. polyethylene terephthalate) is compounded with 1X10<-6>-2X10<-10> pts.wt. phenolic compd., e.g. tetrakis [methylene(3,5-di-t-butyl-4-hydroxy)hydrocinnamate]methane. |
