PURPOSE:To improve flexural strength, water resistance and durability of hardened material of cement and to suppress neutralization, comprising latex consisting of polymer fine particles having core.shell type different layer structure and a specific ratio of unsaturated monomer constituting the core part and the shell part. CONSTITUTION:This admixture comprises a polymer latex consisting of polymer fine particles having a core.shell type different layer structure (multi-layer structure wherein inner part in fine particles in polymer latex fine particles is non-rigid and outer part is rigid at a specified temperature) and a weight ratio of unsaturated monomer constituting the core part and the shell part of (90/10)-(10/90) as an essential component. When the weight ratio of unsaturated monomer exceeds 90/10, compression strength, flexural strength and water reducing effects are not sufficiently shown because of destruction of the different layer structure and when the weight ratio of unsaturated monomer <10/90, improving effects of water absorption properties and neutralization suppression are not sufficient. |
