PURPOSE:To enhance heating effect at the time of the formation of a latent image and to perform high speed recording by arranging a means supplying a contact material, which forms a latent image region showing the sweepback contact angle corresponding to heating temp. on the surface of a recording material, to the surface of the recording material. CONSTITUTION:A surface film 2 composed of a compound constituting the surface of a recording material is formed on a support 1 and a liquid 3 being a contact material is present on the surface of the film 2. When the film 2 is heated in this state, the surface of the film 2 is lowered in its sweepback contact angle to show marked wettability. Further, when this film having a liquid bonding property is again heated in air, a vacuum atmosphere or an inert gas atmosphere, the surface of the film 2 is increased in its sweepback contact angle to again become a state showing liquid repellency. When this apparatus is used, a liquid adhesion region and a liquid non-adhesion non- adhesion region can be simply formed on the recording material. |
