<p>PURPOSE:To provide an active oxygen-inactivating agent having a function to inactivate the active oxygen and useful for treating autoimmune diseases such as Behcet disease by incorporating a p-aminophenol derivative as an active ingredient into the agent. CONSTITUTION:The objective active oxygen-inactivating agent contains 1-70wt.% of a p-aminophenol derivative of the formula (R<1> is lower alkyl; R<2> is H or lower alkyl, R<3> is H or lower alkyl, R<2> and R<3> are combined with each other to form -(CH2)4- or -CH=CH-CH=CH-; a is aromatic hetero 5 or 6-cyclic ring, pyrazine-N-oxide ring, etc.) or a salt thereof and, if necessary, a different or excipient such as a conventional filler, extending agent, binder, humectant, disintegrator, surfactant, lubricant, etc. The agent can be prepared into a shape of tablets, pills, solutions, suspensions, emulsions, capsules, injections, suppositories, ointments, etc. The administration amount of the agent is 0.5-500mg/day/kg as the active ingredient compound.</p> |
