PURPOSE:To reduce the drive loss of an oil pump by changing the signal oil pressure to the signal receiving section of a line pressure control valve with the action of a solenoid valve based on the signal corresponding to the reduction of an engine load. CONSTITUTION:The oil pressure control device 9 of an automatic transmission changes the signal oil pressure applied to the signal receiving section of a line pressure control valve 92a with the action of a solenoid valve 95a by the signal corresponding to the reduction of an engine load and reduces the line pressure PL under the low engine load with the adjusting action of the line pressure control valve 92a based on it. The unnecessary rise of the line pressure PL is prevented, the line pressure PL can be adjusted to the optimum value without requiring a complex and expensive control device, the drive loss of an oil pump 91 is reduced, and the fuel consumption performance and power performance of a vehicle can be improved. |
