Device comprising a cap comprising a thread on its internal wall for it to be screwed on the neck of a bottle, this cap being made in a single piece, by moulding a plastic material, with a tamper-evident belt provided on its internal wall with ribs for hooking onto an annular rim of the neck of a bottle, openings being provided between the cap and its belt in order to determine a fracture line separating the cap from its belt when it is unscrewed for the first time, this device being characterised in that the openings delimiting the fracture line are of different heights, the taller openings (11) comprising a hooking rib (10) opposite their lower side (111), the shorter openings (12) comprising small bridges of plastic material connecting the belt (7) to the cap (6). <IMAGE>
