PURPOSE:To preclude surface reflection on the reverse surface of a protection plate and the top surface of the liquid crystal display by packing a transparent material between the liquid crystal display and projection plate. CONSTITUTION:This liquid crystal display is equipped with a liquid crystal display element and the protection plate 10 which is arranged on the front surface of the liquid crystal display element 1. Then the transparent material 9 is packed between the liquid crystal display element 1 and protection plate 10. The surface reflection factor R in the gap where the transparent material 9 is packed come to '0' to suppress the generation of surface reflected light on the border surface between the protection plate 10 and transparent material 9. Similarly, the generation of the surface reflected light on the border surface between the transparent material 9 and an analyzer 7 is suppressed. Consequently, surface reflection on the liquid crystal display surface is precluded and deterioration in display contents due to reflected light is suppressed. |
