PURPOSE:To effectively prevent offset phenomenon without coating fixing rolls with a releasing agent by using a specified wax as a binder. CONSTITUTION:The toner contains the poly-1-butene wax having an intrinsic viscosity [eta] of 0.06 - 0.7 dl/g or a mixture of >= 60 mol % poly-1-butene and alpha-olefin copolymer wax, and a colorant, and the intrinsic viscosity means that measured in a decaline solvent at 135 deg.C. The copolymerization of the proportion of the 1-butene is >= 60 mol %, preferably, >= 80 mol %, and these wax may be oxide, carboxylic acid, and a modified carboxylic anhydride, thus permitting the obtained toner to effectively prevent the offset phenomenon without coating the fixing rolls with a releasing agent. |
