PURPOSE:To enhance adhesion and release properties and prevent troubles from occurring in paper feeding or printing, by securely adhering a leading end part of a rolled form composite thermal transfer sheet having a receiving material tentatively adhered to a thermal transfer film. CONSTITUTION:A thermal transfer film A having a meltable ink layer 2 provided on one side of a base film 1 and a receiving material B having substantially the same width as that of the film A are releasably adhered to each other by a tentative adhesive layer 3, and are wound into a roll, with leading end parts of the films A and B being securely adhered to each other. With the leading end parts thus adhered securely, this composite thermal transfer sheet can be supplied to a printer while preventing such troubles as release and levitation of the leading end parts or wrinkling from occurring during the passage of the sheet to supply rollers 11, a feed roller 12 or a printing part comprising a thermal head 13 and a platen roll 14. |
