The floating, water-tight safety-container has double-walled sides and ends (2) and at least single-walled base 93) and lid (5). The safety device consists of at least one gas-filled balloon (14,15) with cables (24,25) tubes (21,22) fitments and a control (16) for filling the balloon (14,15). The lid (5,10) contains the safety device between (13) its two sides (5,10). The outer lid (10) wall (8,9) is opened by operating the safety device.
