PURPOSE:To prevent pins from being misarranged by providing a fluid pressure type stopper cylinder at the opening part of the upper end of a pin hole of a bolster plate and locking the piston rod freely in a recessed groove of the outer peripheral part on the upper end of a cushion pin. CONSTITUTION:The bolster plate 4 is carried away out of the line of a press to make the pin holes 8 of the bolster plate 4 correspond to the pin holes 28 of a cover plate 29. Working fluid is supplied to mere selecting cylinders 27 mounting necessary pins 7 of selecting cylinders 27 mounting cushion pins 7 to elevate the selecting cylinder by a required quantity. Under this state, an elevating cylinder 25 is elongated and elevated until the upper end surface of the necessary pins 7 is the same plane as the upper surface of the plate 4. The piston rod 16 is projected into a locking recessed groove 17. When pin lifters 26 are lowered, necessary pins 7 only remain in a plate 4. This is carried into the line of the machine. The working efficiency is improved and the misarrangement can be prevented.
