PURPOSE:To prevent lateral stripe and missing of lateral lines by applying N-line of averaging processing and outputting a slave pattern video data when the data is outputted one per N horizontal scanning lines. CONSTITUTION:A changeover circuit 11 receives a slave pattern video output DT1 and the output per each horizontal scanning line is outputted cyclicly from output terminals Q1, Q2, Q3. Line memories 121, 122 latch tentatively a data outputted from the output terminals Q1, Q2 and outputs the data based on a control signal. An averaging processing circuit 13 applies averaging processing to a data outputted from the line memories 121, 122 and the data outputted from the output terminal Q3 of the switching circuit 11 and outputs the result to the line memory 2. Thus, all of three lines of information sets are included in slave pattern information outputted in the rate of one per three horizontal scanning lines from an N:1 processing circuit 1. Thus, occurrence of lateral stripes and missing of lateral lines of a character or the like are prevented. |
