<p>A self-priming device for pumping a carrier fluid from a first to a second enclosure (5), comprising a (depression effect) self-priming pump including an endless screw (1) attached to a core (30) in order to form threads which define a series of sucessive spaces forming a pumping chamber (31), the capacity of which increases from the inlet (32) and towards the outlet (33) thereof. Said device is characterized in that its outlet (33) opens into the second enclosure (5) and is submerged in the carrier fluid held therein so that on priming, the so-called major carrier, in the second enclosure (5) is lifted through the same opening (33) faster than the pump injects it into the screw (1).</p> |
