PURPOSE:To charge a battery positively and safely by separating a load from a power supply and connecting the power supply to a controller when a secondary battery is charged through an external power supply. CONSTITUTION:When an ignition key is turned ON without inserting an external power supply plug into a connector 7, a load 4 is connected to a power supply. When the external power supply plug is inserted into the connector 7 while turning the ignition key OFF, a generator 6 is isolated and a battery 5 is connected to a rectifying circuit 8. When the external power supply plug is inserted into the connector 7 while turning the ignition key ON, the controller 1 is provided with power, the load 4 is isolated from the power supply and the generator 6 is also isolated, and the battery 5 is connected to the rectifying circuit 8 thus operating a converter 3 through the rectifying circuit 8. |
