PURPOSE:To make the falling amount of toner constant and to form the toner image corresponding to an image signal by rotating a toner supply roller in the state in contact with a toner control means and applying vibration to the toner control means to appropriately disintegrate a toner lump into individual toner particles. CONSTITUTION:The toner in a toner receiving container 10 is supplied to the first mesh member 23 of a toner control means 20 by the rotation of a toner supply roller 12. Since the toner control means 20 is rotated while the toner supply roller 12 is in contact with the toner control means 20 under pressure, vibration is generated and the toner lump is appropriately disintegrated on the first mesh member 23 to efficiently pass through the mesh parts of the mesh member. The toner particles pass through the first mesh member 23 and an electric field is generated in the toner passing holes 22 of a conductive substrate 21 by the electric signal applied to the second mesh member 25. The toner particles preliminarily charged negatively are attracted to the positive electric field applied to the second mesh member 25 as an image signal and pass through the second mesh member 25 to fall on the recording paper 60 placed on a base electrode 50 and the toner image faithful to the image signal can be always formed. |
