<p>Inclusion of alginate in enzyme-conjugate incubation solutions is used to improve performance of immunoassays. The total binding of antibody-signal producing species conjugate is enhanced and the specific binding is enhanced more than the non-specific binding. This allows a lower detection limit to be achieved in these assays.</p> |
