<p>A process and apparatus (20) for curing an ultraviolet light curable material deposited on a substrate (30) by applicator (34), which is on the endless belt (24) driven by rollers (26 & 28). A signal (42) representing a parameter of the curing process is produced by tachometer and tachometer signal circuit (40) in combination with idle roller (38) and the conveyor (22). The substrate is positioned to receive ultraviolet light from a source (36). A characteristic of the ultraviolet light is selected from at least two non-zero values based on the curing process parameter signal received at a control input terminal (44) and the substrate is exposed to the selected ultraviolet light.</p> |
