摘要 The magnet bearing, for a ferro-magnetic rotor as a spinning or twisting ring (4) rotated by friction movement of the yarn (2), is concentric to the spindle with a permanent magnet ring (6) and the electro-magnetic system (14). This forms a deflection guide for the yarn (2) fed in the axial spindle direction to be wound round the bobbin (1) on the spindle. The spinning or twisting ring (4) is a cylindrical sleeve with an axial length at least half its dia. The lower end side (20) of the sleeve acts as the deflection guide for the yarn (2). A space (5) between the permanent magnet ring (6) and the spinning or twisting ring (4) gives a passage for the fed yarn to pass through, and the ring (4) can have a carrier passage for the yarn (2) as an opening leading in from the outside. Sensors (11) are located at one end side of the ring (4) and the electro-magnetic system is at the other end. Three to eight sensors (11) are located equidistantly round the periphery. The electro-magnetic system (14) has at least four segment coils (17) on a ring-shaped core (15), in opposing pairs linked together. A ballooning limiter (21) is in front of the spinning or twisting ring (4) in the direction (A) of yarn (2) travel, and a locking ring (27) is below the spinning or twisting ring (4). The ballooning limiter (21) and/or the locking ring (27) are of a non-magnetic material. ADVANTAGE - The appts. gives a radial stability with high accuracy, using a floating ring held without contact.
