The detector of a digital value of an analog one uses subtraction of a comparison value for setting a corresp. bit. For the voltage amplifying of each measuring stage compensation of the natural stepping of the digital value is used. The detector pref. has a modular structure of identical switching stages for any arbitrary widening of the digital value. The max. value of the analog actual value to be digitalised is given by comparison voltage. ADVANTAGE - Small number of simple components, and high conversion rate.
