In order to make it possible to perform various operations, especially of observation of cleaning and of simple servicing, on equipment installed in a hot cell, a movable servicing enclosure is proposed, comprising a casing (40) capable of being placed alongside an access orifice made in a horizontal upper partition of the cell. The casing (40) contains modular members (88) of a servicing pole (94), which are placed especially on a tool-carrier rotary magazine (78). With the aid of auxiliary handling arms and a retractable support (110), a pole (94) of suitable length and kind is constructed at a distance on a mechanism (128) mounted in a rotating tray (120) built into the ceiling of the casing (40). Portholes (232, 236) and illuminating and displaying systems facilitate the servicing operations.
