摘要

PURPOSE:To improve dispersion effect for magnetic powder, surface property and durability of a magnetic layer by using two kinds of binder resins where the difference of the respective glass transition temperatures is a specified value or above as binder. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic layer 2 incorporates magnetic powder and the binder. The magnetic powder has >=55m<2>/g specific surface area, and two resin components incorporating repetitive units having one kind of polar group selected from the group composed of -SO3M, -OSO3M, -COOM, -PO(OM')2 (wherein M is hydrogen atom or alkali metal atom such as Na, K, Li and M' is hydrogen atom, alkali metal atom such as Na, K, Li, or alkyl group such as -CH3, -C2H5) are used as the binder. The glass transition temperatures of these two resins are different from each other by >=60 deg.C.
