发明名称 SWITCHING DEVICE FOR OPTICAL SIGNAL PATH
摘要 PURPOSE:To easily allow the cross connecting, branching, inserting, etc., of the optical signal paths of multiple channels at high speed by orthogonally connecting plural wavelength converting elements and optical path converting board arrays having beam deflecting means in series. CONSTITUTION:The optical path converting boards 1 having the plural wavelength converting elements 2 which convert the wavelengths of input light to arbitrary wavelengths and the beam deflecting means 3 for deflecting the light beams outputted from the converting elements 2 to difference directions according to the wavelengths are formed and are orthogonally connected in series. The 1st and 2nd optical path converting board arrays 1a, 1b are orthogonally connected in series in this way, by which the optical signal inputted to the 1st optical path converting board array 1a can be outputted from the arbitrary output position of the 2nd optical path converting board array 1b. The easy dealing with the an increase in the scale of signal capacity expected in future is thus possible.
