PURPOSE:To prevent useless copying caused by forgetting the selection of an actuating optical system by disposing 1st and 2nd exposure optical systems, an original detecting means and the mode selecting means of the exposure optical system. CONSTITUTION:In the 1st exposure optical system 3, the light of a lamp 6a is guided on a sheet 2 in an exposure part 16 through the original on a platen 5, a slit 6c, mirrors 6b, 7a and 7b, a lens 8 and a turnable mirror 9. In the 2nd exposure optical system 4, the light of the lamp 10 reaches the sheet 2 passing through the same optical path as the mirror 9. An original sensor 34 is disposed in front or back of a light transmissive original 12 by an original holding member 13 so as to detect the presence or absence of the original and whether the state of holding the original is good or not. And also, the temperature of a thermistor 41 is detected by the exposure part 16, and the heater 40 is turned on or off so as to adjust the temperature of the sheet 2. These actions are totally controlled by an incorporated CPU, and the actuating optical system 3 or 4 is automatically selected based on the presence or absence of the original in the original holding part in the 2nd exposure optical system. Thus, useless copying is not performed. |
