PURPOSE:To obtain a metallic sheet for plastic working easy to work by marking marks, letters, etc., on a metallic sheet by means of wet plating treatment and then providing a clear-type fluororesin coating layer. CONSTITUTION:Marks, letters, figures, patterns, etc., are marked on a metallic sheet by means of wet plating treatment. As the above metallic sheet, an aluminum sheet, a stainless steel sheet, etc., can be used. Further, either of electroplating treatment and electroless plating treatment can be used as the above wet plating treatment, and this wet plating treatment is carried out by applying masking of a shape corresponding to the desired patterns, etc., to the above metallic sheet and then performing the plating treatment. Subsequently, a clear-type fluororesin coating layer is provided to the above metallic sheet on which the marks, letters, figures, patterns, etc., are marked. This coating layer can be obtained by applying polytetrafluoroethylene, etc., formed into paint-like state to the metallic sheet and then carrying out curing at a temp. in the vicinity of room temp. or baking at proper temp., and preferred thickness of this coating layer is about 20-60mu. By subjecting the resulting metallic sheet for plastic working to plastic working, a product, such as vessel body for cooker, having the sharp and peeling-free marking of marks, letters, figures, patterns, etc., can be easily obtained. |
