PURPOSE:To prevent an ink discharging nozzle of an ink jet head from drying the ink, adhering impurities and the like which can be caused by contact with the open air, by providing protection means in an ink receiving body so as to protect the ink jet nozzle of the ink jet head. CONSTITUTION:An ink jet head 10 has a concave portion wherein an ink discharging nozzle 11 is provided with a certain depth from the front surface of the ink jet head. The concave portion is covered by an electrode plate 20 which prevents the ink discharging nozzle 11 from contacting with the open air, so that the electrode plate 20 acts as a protection cap. The electrode plate can be shaped arbitrarily into a sphere, curved surface or the like. |
