PURPOSE:To prevent slipping of wheels on an icy snow passage so as to perform smooth reverse start by constituting an automatic transmission in such a manner as decreasing engine output when it is set in a reverse range and an winter mode. CONSTITUTION:The reverse range as well as the winter mode of an automatic transmission are selected by a driver, respective switches 3, 4 are set ON. Respective signals are inputted and processed in an microcomputer 11, and the processing signals are transmitted to a computer 20 for engine control. On the other hand, an ignition timing delay signal is outputted from the computer 20 for engine control, it is transmitted to a spark timing controller 22 via a driving circuit 21 so as to delay an ignition timing. Thereby output torque of an engine is decreased. Consequently, the slip of wheels on an icy snow passage so as to perform smooth reverse start. |
