<p>PURPOSE:To improve the work efficiency by providing a control means for discriminating whether a character cursor and a mouse cursor are superposed on each other or not, and updating the data of a pointer for showing a display position of the mouse cursor in accordance with a result of discrimination. CONSTITUTION:A display device compares coordinate data (Xc, Yc) of a charac ter cursor and coordinate data Xm, Ym of a mouse cursor and discriminate whether the character cursor and the mouse cursor are superposed on each other or not, and return to a step S1 in the case they are not superposed. In the case they are superposed, the device moves to a step S7, and discriminate whether the character cursor is in the lowest line of a display screen or not, and in the case it does not exist, in a step S8, height (b) of the character cursor is added to coordinate data ym so that the mouse cursor moves downward, and in the case it exists, in a step S9, by subtracting height (d) of the mouse cursor, a movement of the mouse cursor is executed.</p> |
