<p>The apparatus comprises, around a perforated tubular shaft, a helical conveying member surrounded by a perforated cage, a membrane arranged so as to divide the space situated between the tubular shaft and the cage, on the one hand, into a pressure chamber facing the tubular shaft and, on the other hand, into a pressing chamber facing the cage, the said pressure chamber being connected to a suitable means for controlling the pressure in this pressure chamber, the said apparatus also comprises means for driving in rotation capable of driving in the same direction, on the one hand, the said cage and, on the other hand, the said conveying means at rotational speeds which are either equal, in which case the membrane presses the product against the perforated cage, or different, the product then moving forward in the apparatus. <IMAGE></p> |
