<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the efficiency of a production system by stating the uniform style of production in formation, enabling mutual access to the production information of other processes and allowing a change in the contents of each production information within the predetermined allowable range, depending upon a request from other processes. CONSTITUTION:A production control system is constituted of a design department terminal 1, a purchase department terminal 2, a manufacture department terminal 3, a system control terminal 4, production process means 101 to 109, database 200 and an information control mechanism 300. All the aforesaid constituents are connected to common lines 11 and 12, and can mutually send or receive information. Production information is stored in the single database 200 via the single information control mechanism 300. This mechanism 300 is actuated whenever a request for generating and updating the production information from each of the terminals 1 to 3 is received, and retrieves related information stated in the production information regarding the request. Then, the mechanism 300 makes judgement as to whether the related information allows the updating of the production information or otherwise.</p> |
