The machine for refrigerating or heating beverages in containers 3, or bulk foods or meals, comes with a convection-type air conditioning circuit: this can combine the two thermal functions or adapt itself to either of these by slight modifications, which can also be introduced during operation: the products are visible through a housing 2 which delimits the processing chamber C for them; the machine is comprised of a base housing 1, provided at the bottom with a chamber CO containing the compressor 27 of the refrigerant fluid, the condenser 28 with the cooling fan 29 and a collection box 11 for the water of condensation coming from the chambers above: an intermediate chamber E having an evaporator 14 and a ventilation chamber EV having a fan 15 for the air conditioning circuit which extracts the air from the upper processing chamber C of the beverage containers 3 in the depicted version, through openings 15a in the support surface 5, provided with openings 19, through which emerges the treated air coming from said intermediate chamber E via an intervening distributor 16; said beverage containers are introduced from the top in corresponding cup-type supports 20 conveying the treated air; in the case of heating, between the ventilation chamber EV and the intermediate chamber E are inserted heating resistors; the support surface 5 is then replaced by a surface having opening formations fed by a distributor line underneath: the housing 2 is replaced by a housing with shelves. |
