PURPOSE:To obtain a flat type battery having small internal resistance and excellent discharge performance by pre-pressing the middle part of lithium metal foil to a negative electrode terminal plate, and substantially pressing the whole lithium metal foil to the negative electrode terminal plate by means of an elastic body in a projected spherical surface state. CONSTITUTION:After lithium metal foil 3 is punched or cut to a given shape, by pre-pressing the middle part of lithium metal foil 3, while pushing it to a negative electrode terminal plate 2 by means of a pressure jig 1, the peripheral part of the lithium metal foil 3 is not previously pressed to the negative electrode terminal plate 2. Moreover because the lithium metal foil 3 is pressed from the middle part to the outer peripheral part by substantially pressing the lithium metal foil 3 to the negative electrode terminal plate 2 by means of an elastic body 4 in a projected spherical surface state, the forming of an electrical insulating body, in which the lithium metal foil 3 is pressedly fixed with air caught therein is eliminated. This can obtain a flat type battery having small internal resistance and excellent discharge performance. |
