PURPOSE:To eliminate the eluation of a first clamper and to make possible a long-term and stable bonding operation by a method wherein one pole of a spark power supply is connected to a gold wire via a spool holder. CONSTITUTION:A spark generating circuit is constituted of a gold wire spool 12 with a bonding wire wound thereon, a power supply 9 for spark use, a switch 10 and a torch electrode 8 for discharge use. In this circuit, as there is no part, which repeats contact and non-contact with a gold wire 3 like a conventional first clamper 5, a spark is generated only between the electrode 8 and a gold wire end 4. |
