Known apparatus use cross-sealing stations in which, caused by the movement of the cross-welding jaws, on the one hand, an adjustment of the welding path is not possible and, on the other hand, the production speed cannot be increased. In order to avoid these disadvantages, the invention provides that the cross-welding jaw is supported on a support which is connected to two parallel guide-bar arrangements, which are pivotal about two parallel axles arranged perpendicularly with respect to the centerline of the tube to define a four-bar mechanism. |
