The invention consists of a glass fibre chopper. According to the invention the machine is composed of downstream guidance aids, in front of which there is a chopper head, which works together with pressing aids. In order to ameliorate quality the chopper head includes some exterior eccentric caps, within which is fixed a cutting rotor equipped with radially disposed cutting elements. It is used to produce wrapping fibres for thermoplastic resins.<IMAGE>
