PURPOSE:To secure the smooth travel state over a long period of time by operating an oil feeding means to perform oiling when the travel frequency of a travel body counted by a travel frequency counting means reaches the specified value. CONSTITUTION:A laser optical device 2 is disposed on a flat plate like travel body 1, and two storage-type phosphors 3 are disposed in front of the device 2. These phosphors 3 are rotated to be moved in their positions between an exposure position E, which is the opposed position to a sample 4, and a read position Y, which is the opposed position to the laser optical device 2, and the light radiated from the phosphor 3 in the read position Y is received by a photoelectric transfer device 5 through the laser optical device 2. At this time, the travel body 1 is reciprocated to scan the whole surface of the phosphor 3. In this case, the frequency of the reciprocating motion of the travel body 1 is counted by a control device 18 on the basis of the output of a photo sensor 19, and when this frequency reaches the specified value, oil feeding means 17 are operated to perform automatic oiling. |
