发明名称 TEMPERATURE CONTROL METHOD FOR ROLLER TYPE THERMAL FIXING DEVICE
摘要 PURPOSE:To rapidly uniformize the rapid heat distribution in the initial period of the rise of a standby temp. and to allow the accurate transfer to a fixing temp. even when a fixing operation command enters by balancing the heat supply quantity from a heater side in correspondence to the fluctuation in the heat radiation quantity to a pressurizing roller side. CONSTITUTION:A timer X and a clutch 16a operates when a power source is turned on. Total energization heating is then executed while a roller 1a is held stopped with out rotating. The rotation of the roller 1a starts after a lapse of the prescribed time and the reference frequency of a VCO 33 is previously set at 1Hz by the selection signal from a control section 50. The total energization heating is switched to propor tional control when the standby reference temp. is attained. The modulation signal of a dense pulse density is then transmitted by the VCO 33 to a PWM 41 and the proportional control is executed in accordance with this reference frequency until the rotation of the roller 1a stops. The heating control of the heater is executed by the rotation of the roller 1a and the dense period density and, therefore, the sufficient heat is supplied to the pressurizing roller 1b and the uniformity of the heat distribution is rapidly attained. The uniformization of the heat distribution is rapidly attained after the transfer to the standy temp.
