PURPOSE:To effectively utilize the storage area of a memory stored with automatic play patterns by providing a specifying information storage means stored with pattern specifying information for specifying the automatic play patterns used for the automatic play of respective play parts and a pattern read means which reads the automatic play patterns out of the pattern storage means. CONSTITUTION:The automatic play patterns of respective play parts are selected according to the pattern specifying information stored in a specifying information storage means 3. When the patterns of the respective parts are set previously by the kinds of rhythm, the pattern specifying information for specifying the respective patterns to be set is only stored in the specifying information storage means 3 by the kinds of rhythm. When a pattern used in common between plural kinds of rhythm exists, only the pattern is stored in a pattern storage means and specified with the pattern specifying information at need. Consequently, the storage capacity of the pattern storage means 4 is reduced and the storage area of the pattern storage means 4 can effectively be utilized. |
