PURPOSE:To eliminate an installation of a blind or the like for preventing glare by providing a layer showing photochromism for coloring by irradiation with strong light and bleaching in a dark place on the opposite side to the incident light of an optically transparent thin film solar cell. CONSTITUTION:An optically transparent a-Si solar cell 1 is contained in a frame 2, an air-cooled tempered glass plate 3 is provided as a protective material on the incident side of a light 10, and a photochromic glass plate 6 is used as a transparent protective material on the rear surface side. Ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin (EVA) 5 is filled around the cell 1 as a sealing material. When the cell 1 is formed in a module in this manner, layers 6 showing photochromism are provided on light incident and opposite sides to color at the layer against a strong light and bleach upon becoming dark without decrease in a generating output by the incident light. Thus, an installation of a blind or the like to prevent glare can be eliminated. |
