PURPOSE:To easily adjust a reflecting mirror in an X and a Y direction and to attain highly accurate irradiation with reflected light by constituting a tilt angle adjustment part and a right-left facing adjustment part independently of each other. CONSTITUTION:Side plates 12 and 13 which support the reflecting mirror 5 face each other at an interval, and constitute the chassis of a copying machine or are fitted to the chassis. Long guide holes 17 and 18 are formed in the bottom plate 15 of the side plate 13 in the front-rear direction at an interval and the other side plate 13 is guided to move to and away from the plate 12 under the guidance of the guide hole 17 and a guide pin 16. A downward projection 25 is formed in the insertion hole 21 of the side plate 12 at the center part, and consequently one end part of the reflecting mirror 5 has its center part clamped between a leaf spring 16 and the projection 25 and is freely variable in its tilt angle. The tilt angle adjustment part and right-left facing adjustment part are constituted independently of each other. Consequently, even when one plate is adjusted, the other is not disordered to eliminate the need for adjustment, thereby enabling the highly accurate adjustment. |
