摘要

PURPOSE: To easily access data by compressing inputted data, forming an icon- like image and using the icon-like image as a tag in terms of a pictorial diagram for accessing whole input data of an original. CONSTITUTION: A scanner 1 scans the image and digitized image data being a result is transferred to an image accumulation device 2. A compression logic 3 compresses whole image data in the image accumulation device 2 for forming the icon-like image and the icon-like image is accumulated in an accumulation device 4 in a bit map system in connection to whole image data. The icon-like image is used as the tag in terms of the pictorial diagram for accessing image data of the original. Data such as image information can easily be accessed and processed without the need of the processing and the transfer of massive data.
