PURPOSE:To attain effective multitrack recording with simple constitution, by connecting plural heads successively to a current source to output AC current synchronizing with clocks of recording data to make the direction of current flowing into the heads coincide with that of the AC current. CONSTITUTION:The direction of AC current from a current source 11 which is applied to heads 1-4 is controlled by clocks P2 outputted from a frequency divider 8 while being synchronized with a data string of a data source 5. The multistage FFs 14-17 constituting a shift register 10 are successively set up through the clocks P2, AND gates 18-21 corresponding to the heads 1-4 are opened and transistors (TRs) T1-T4 are successively turned on so that the direction of current flowing into the heads 1-4 is made coincide with that of the AC current from the current source 11. Thus, a pulse signal train is effectively recorded in the multitracks without crosstalk with simple constitution using the common current source. |
