PURPOSE:To control plural electronic equipments by storing a storage means with one or plural kinds of setting data corresponding to the kind of an electronic equipment to be controlled in advance, selecting setting data corresponding to a controlled object from the storage means at the time of control, and outputting data to the electronic equipment according to the setting data. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with plural operation elements, a communication means 11 for making a communication with the electronic equipments, a setting means 10 which assigns data indicating various operation elements to the operation elements and sets the functions of the respective operation elements, and the storage means 9 stored with the setting data set by the setting means 10. Then when an operation element is operated, data indicating an operation element which is operated is outputted to the communication means 11 according to the setting data stored in the storage means 9 and data indicating the state of the operation element is outputted to the communication means 11. Therefore, the function (role) of each operation element of the operation device is freely altered. Consequently, plural kinds of electronic equipments are controlled by one operation device. |
