PURPOSE:To isolate vibration in a frequency region of wide range by providing two fluid chambers and an orifice, through which both fluid chambers communicate with each other, between inner and outer cylinders, which are respectively mounted to an engine and a car body, and forming a major side of a groove part of this orifice in size two times or more that of a minor side to provide an electrode plate in this groove part. CONSTITUTION:A main unit rubber 18 is arranged between inner and outer cylinders 12, 16, and a subfluid chamber 38 and a main fluid chamber 40 are formed in the rubber 18, filled with electric fluidic fluid 44 and connected by an orifice 42. The orifice 42 is formed in a rectangular section with its major side set to two times or more the minor side, while electrode plates 50, 52 are opposedly arranged in the major side. The electric fluidization fluid 44 passes through the orifice 42 by vibration, and passing resistance of this fluid absorbs vibration, but when the electrode plates 50, 52 are electrified, viscosity of the electric fluidized fluid 44 is increased in accordance with an electrification quantity to finally place the orifice 42 in a closed condition. That is, by enabling a dynamic spring constant to change, vibration can be damped in a frequency region of wide range, and improvement of riding comfortableness can be contrived. |
