<p>PURPOSE:To judge the time of regeneration accurately by adding trapped amount per unit time in trap area and deducting recombustion amount per unit time in self recombustion area, thereby obtaining the accumulated amount of particulate. CONSTITUTION:A control unit 41 judges whether the operation point determined by detected values of a crank angle sensor 34 and an accelerator lever opening sensor 35 is in the trap area or in the self recombustion area. In the trap area, trapped amount per unit time is calculated and in the self recombustion area recombustion amount per unit time is calculated. Particulate accumulation amount is calculated by adding the trapped amount for every unit time in the trap area and deducting the recombustion amount for every unit time in the self recombustion area. Since the regeneration time of the trap 3 is judged from the accumulated amount obtained in this way, the regeneration time is suitably judged according to the use condition of an engine 1 even if the use condition changes.</p> |
