<p>PURPOSE:To prevent leakage through a joint from occurring when water, liquid industrial chemical and the like are run through a joined pipe by a method wherein joining is performed by coating joint surfaces with cold-setting two-pack type epoxy-based adhesive at the joining of phenolic resin pipe and its joint. CONSTITUTION:The phenolic resin pipe 1 used is produced by being extruded with a screw, at the tip of which a smooth part is provided, so as to be shaped in the self form retaining state by the extrusion through the smooth part. Further, the joint 2 is made of the same or similar material as or to that of the pipe. The joining between the pipe 1 and the joint 2 is performed by applying cold-setting two-pack type adhesive to both the adhesive coating surfaces of the pipe and of the joint so as to form the thickness of adhesive film of about 0.1mm. After that, the joint is left as it is at normal temperature under its fixed state in order to complete its joining.</p> |
