PURPOSE:To allow an island mechanism to be also adapted to a slot machine by a method wherein a ball outlet of a ball throwing part of the slot machine is connected to an inlet of a ball circulation path of the island mechanism for pachinko machine, the number of balls which pass through the connecting part is counted and stored as numeric data on the number of thrown balls. CONSTITUTION:An outlet of a ball throwing path 5b is located opposite to an inlet of a ball falling path 6a provided in a ball circulating path 6 of an existing island mechanism, and a counting sensor 7 is furnished in the middle of the ball falling path 6a to form the counting data on the number of thrown balls on a the thrown-ball counter 7a. An arithmetic element 8 processes the numeric data on the number of game media. The data from the thrown-ball counter 7a are supplied to the arithmetic element 8 as additive data, and on the other hand, the subtractive data from a designated-number signal forming element 4b are supplied. And, the prize-pay-off numeric data from a prize-pay-off numeric data forming element 14 are also supplied to the arithmetic element 8 as additive data according to prize signals of a prize judgment element 13. |
