PURPOSE:To facilitate a field assembling operation by forming an engaging portion to be hooked up on the upper marginal portion of a hood side plate mounted to a hood ceiling plate in a substantially perpendicularly suspended attitude and hooking up the engaging portion to be hooked up to a hook-engaging portion to bring both portions into engagement. CONSTITUTION:A large size hood A is composed of one hood ceiling plate 1 and four hood side plates 3.... A front L-shaped bent piece 6 is bent upward and inward at the front end of the hood ceiling plate 1. An erected front engaging piece 7 is bent at the upper end of the front L-shaped bent piece 6. An L-shaped upward bent pieces 12 is bent at the upper end of the hood side plate 3a which constitutes a front plate to form an engaging portion 4 to be hooked up. Another L-shaped upward bent piece 46 is also bent at the upper end of the hood side pate 3b which constitutes a left plate to form the engaging portion 4 to be hooked up. The engaging portions 4 to be hooked up of the hood side plates 3 can be hooked up to hook-engaging portions 2 formed on the four side marginal ends of the hood ceiling plate 1 to form an hook engagement. At this time, since the suspended pieces 12a and 46a of the upward bent pieces 12 and 46 of the hood side plates 3a and 3b engages the erected front engaging piece 7 and an erected left engaging piece 10, respectively, a hook- engaging operation is facilitated. |
