The invention concerns a turbulence flange of a lip for the lip channel in the headbox of a paper machine and a method for refitting it. The turbulence lip is formed into a cassette 26 which can be replaced, which includes a cassette body 28 and a strip housing 29 in it, in which the individual strips 27 can be positioned.
